RICH Europe’s 2nd Symposium of Research Infrastructures (RIs) “Maximising synergies in Science and Innovation through RIs” is organised under the RICH Europe project.

European RIs play a pivotal role in advancing frontier research, fostering innovation, and addressing societal challenges. As strategic assets of the European Research Area (ERA), RIs support excellent science, enable cross-border collaboration, and contribute to Europe’s global competitiveness.

The symposium will provide an opportunity to promote synergies among RIs and relevant stakeholders; to showcase successful models of collaboration among RIs, partnerships, and clusters; to encourage the involvement of RIs in other parts of Horizon Europe; to assess and analyse cooperation between RIs and other European programmes; to promote interoperability and data sharing; to facilitate dialogue among stakeholders; and to support capacity building.

Registration to the symposium will be open until 10 February 2026. You can find further info, the registration link and the (latest draft version of the) programme in the announcement on the RICH Europe website.

AI4Culture - Empowering Cultural Heritage through Artificial Intelligence

The AI4Culture project, funded under Digital Europe call Data space for cultural heritage (deployment) aims to develop an online capacity building hub for AI technologies in the cultural heritage sector. This hub contributes to the creation of the European common cultural heritage data space, which provides support to the digital transformation of Europe’s cultural sector and fosters the creation and reuse of content in cultural and creative sectors. The Flemish company CrossLang is one of the 12 partners in the project and brings in its year-long expertise in the development of multilingual technology to the transcription and translation of scanned printed and handwritten documents.
