ProgrammesThe Fifth Forum for the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change aims to bring together participants to explore practical adaptation solutions and innovative tools. It is organised by the Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change Platform (MIP4Adapt).
The event will feature collaborative discussions, networking opportunities, and site visits showcasing regional responses to climate risks.
Activities on 27 May will include site visits across Nicosia, a dedicated Pre Forum workshop and an evening reception. The main Forum on 28 May will provide a platform for participants to connect and discuss locally relevant solutions to climate challenges. You can find the full programme on their website.

The ATHENA project addresses emerging risks for the water sector in operational technology created by digitalisation. The project responds to Digital Europe call DIGITAL-ECCC-2022-CYBER-03-UPTAKE-CYBERSOLUTIONS – Uptake op Innovative Cybersecurity Solutions. The project started in September 2023 and will run until November 2026. De Vlaamse Waterweg - The Flemish Waterway participates in the project to enhance the resilience of the organisation by co-developing targeted training modules for operational technology environments.
