The European Science Engagement Association (EUSEA) 2026 conference is organised in collaboration with the University of Luxembourg and the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR). The theme of the conference is “In Other Words and Other Worlds: Confronting Assumptions for Better Engagement“.
EUSEA brings together people who want to improve the relationship between research and society. If you work in public engagement, science communication, or use participatory or transdisciplinary approaches, this conference offers a valuable space to exchange ideas and practice.
You will be part of a community working with researchers, communities, policymakers and other societal partners to co-create meaningful engagement. Through shared experience and discussion, the conference examines how these approaches can become more reflective, inclusive, and effective across diverse cultural and institutional settings.
Registration is open for EUSEA members (400 euro) and non-members (550 euro). Registration closes on 30 April 2026 (00:00 MET). All information about registration, the programme including social activities and practical details (venue, travel and accommodation) can be found on the conference website.
