The e-Infrastructure Reflection Group (e-IRG) organises two open workshops every year, each under the auspices of the corresponding presidency of the EU Council. The Belgian EU Presidency e-IRG Workshop will be organised as a hybrid event and will bring together e-IRG stakeholders in Brussels, Belgium, as well as online and worldwide. The e-IRG events are official EU presidency events which will take place in the framework of the “Conference on Research Infrastructures” and the "European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI) Forum meeting”, similar to the Lund events under the Swedish EU presidency.
The e-IRG Workshop organised in the framework of the Belgian EU Presidency has the overarching theme "Sustainable e-Infrastructures for research results valorisation".

The e-Infrastructure Reflection Group (e-IRG)
e-IRG is an independent, strategic body aiming to facilitate integration of e-Infrastructures and connected services at the European level and globally. e-IRG’s mission is to support both coherent, innovative, and strategic European e-Infrastructure policymaking and the development of convergent, interoperable, and sustainable e-Infrastructure services.
e-IRG acts as a neutral advisory body and works through producing strategic and policy reports, analyses, and recommendations. e-IRG’s recent publications emphasize the role of national building blocks, the importance of coordination on the various political levels and the cooperation and coordination between European e-Infrastructures as key factors for the implementation of the ERA in general, and particularly the EOSC.
