ProgrammesThis virtual matchmaking event aims to help researchers and innovators find partners for Horizon Europe Cluster 1 proposals under Pillar 2. It brings together participants from Belgium, Canada, France, Luxembourg, and Switzerland for bilateral meetings and project idea pitches.
The Candian federal institution ISED (Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada) is organising an online matchmaking event for the 2027 Horizon Europe health calls. The event will bring together researchers and innovators from Belgium, Canada, France, Luxembourg, and Switzerland to forge new partnerships. The session is hosted in French, with English live captions available, and pitches may be made in French or English.
All selected participants will receive access to B2Match where they can arrange bilateral meetings with potential collaborators. The platform will be available from 21 September to 25 September 2026. A virtual pitch session takes place on 22 September.

Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant coordinated the Glaukos project, which answered the call topic published in 2019 of Horizon 2020 Framework Programme ‘Develop bio-based fibres and/or functional molecules to improve the performance of textile products’ under the Framework of the Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU). The consortium partners took up this challenge by valorising industrial side streams and setting up a circular approach to the textile industry.
