ProgrammesThis online event will focus on the collaboration between SSH (Social Sciences and Humanities) and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) disciplines as this is one of the key elements for a holistic approach to enhancing artificial intelligence in Europe.
The brokerage event targets those interested in submitting proposals dealing with artificial intelligence in various fields, such as health, digital, climate and environment, and requiring the involvement of social sciences and humanities (such as sociology, ethics, laws, psychology, economics, linguistics, anthropology, etc).
The event will particularly focus on 18 call topics identified in Pillar 2 of Horizon Europe where AI has a pivotal role in the call topic text and where there is a clear mention of the involvement of SSH activities.

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action (MSCA) European Innovative Training Network “PBNv2 - Next generation Pass-By Noise approaches for new powertrain vehicles” started in May 2017. Their research has the shared objective of investigating the possibilities to decrease pass-by noise of vehicles.
The project is a collaboration between 17 research institutions and companies in the European automotive R&D and provides a learning environment for 14 PhD fellows. The Belgian partner is the Noise and Vibration Research Group of KU Leuven, and this project is one of the many Horizon 2020 MSCA Innovative Training Networks that the KU Leuven research group participates in.
