ProgrammesThe ERC is looking for three ERC grantees to participate in the next edition of the ‘Science is Wonderful!’ fair which takes place in March 2025. This event is aimed at primary and secondary school students, and gives them the opportunity to interact with leading researchers and innovators through games, group experiments and quizzes.
More information on the Science is wonderful! science fair, the 2024 edition, what is in it for ERC grantees and what is expected from them, the evaluation criteria and the timeline is available in the application form for ERC grantees which is open until 31 October.

The ATHENA project addresses emerging risks for the water sector in operational technology created by digitalisation. The project responds to Digital Europe call DIGITAL-ECCC-2022-CYBER-03-UPTAKE-CYBERSOLUTIONS – Uptake op Innovative Cybersecurity Solutions. The project started in September 2023 and will run until November 2026. De Vlaamse Waterweg - The Flemish Waterway participates in the project to enhance the resilience of the organisation by co-developing targeted training modules for operational technology environments.
