Programmes Climate, Energy, Mobility EIT MissionsEIT Urban Mobility launched the 2024 call to support innovations and to bring them to market. This call will close on 7 June 2023.
It focusses on three specific challenge areas of the nine challenge areas that are defined by the EIT Urban Mobility business plan 2023-2025. These three challenge areas are:
Public, private or hybrid mass transit providers are encouraged to test and validate new transport services and improved operations. While the call predominantly seeks proposals addressing the most pressing issues within mass transit, it still remains open to excellent proposals from other providers within the area of urban mobility.
As these objectives are aligned with the EU mission on Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities, selected pilot cities are also encouraged to apply.

Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant coordinated the Glaukos project, which answered the call topic published in 2019 of Horizon 2020 Framework Programme ‘Develop bio-based fibres and/or functional molecules to improve the performance of textile products’ under the Framework of the Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU). The consortium partners took up this challenge by valorising industrial side streams and setting up a circular approach to the textile industry.
