ProgrammesThe European Commission has published the latest drafts of the Horizon Europe work programme 2023-2024 for the majority of Horizon Europe programme parts. It is expected that a pre-publication will follow early December. The latest drafts can be found on the Comitology Register of the European Commission.

Info days and brokerage events
Several save-the-dates and announcements for European Commission (virtual) info days have been done. The info days provide information on the call topics in the work programmes and are often complemented by brokerage events, organised by NCP networks in collaboration with the European Commission, where connections can be made with potential collaboration partners. The latest overview is available below. Once official announcements have been done of separate info days they will be included in the NCP Flanders event calendar.

The ROOT project obtained funding under Horizon 2020 topic ‘EGNSS applications fostering societal resilience and protecting the environment’. The project, which ran from November 2020 to July 2022, aimed to demonstrate the benefit of Galileo OSNMA signal to increase the robustness of critical telecom infrastructures.
The Flanders-based company Septentrio contributed substantially to completing this objective together with the other ROOT partners. The results of the project partially close a gap in the security of telecommunication networks dependent on satellite-derived time, with indirect benefits in curbing illegal attempts to disrupt network services.
