ProgrammesTRUNSPORT, an initiative funded under the Digital Europe programme, has opened a call for Financial Support to Third Parties (FSTP) grants. With this call, TRUNSPORT will provide financial support and engage into its cybersecurity ecosystem transport sector entities (road, rail, air, and water). In a second open call, that will open later, it will expand participation to entities operating in other OT/IT-based critical infrastructure sectors.
The project aims to award funding to 21 projects for transport sector entities to strengthen cybersecurity resilience through the TRUNSPORT Cyber Support Hub, within a structured 9-month programme of mentoring, training, and hands-on access to cybersecurity services.
The TRUNSPORT Open Call 1 provides lump-sum grants of up to EUR 60,000.
More information on the call can be found on the TRUNSPORT website and the dedicated page on the Funding & Tenders Portal.
Deadline to submit applications is 30 October 2026.
Background:
TRUNSPORT is dedicated to strengthening cybersecurity resilience across the transport sector and related critical infrastructures. As digitalisation accelerates, transport systems face growing cyber threats that can disrupt operations and compromise safety. TRUNSPORT addresses these challenges through its Cyber Security Hub (CSH), a one-stop platform offering advanced services for preparedness, protection, and mutual assistance.
We offer news and event updates, covering all domains and topics of Horizon Europe, Digital Europe & EDF (and occasionally, for ongoing projects, Horizon 2020).
