Programmes Digital Europe AI Continent Deployment: Best use of technologiesThe aim of the Interoperable Europe Act is to facilitate cross-border data exchange and to accelerate the digital transformation of the public sector. The Interoperable Europe Act enables administrations to cooperate while ensuring public services function seamlessly across borders and sectoral as well as organizational boundaries.
Knowledge of underlying EU policies and legislations is a key element in Digital Europe proposals as they play an important role in the “relevance” evaluation criterion. This Policy Briefing is one of several briefings prepared by DEP4ALL, the NCP Network for the Digital Europe programme, to support applicants with summaries of relevant EU initiatives.

Funded under Horizon Europe (HORIZON-INFRA-2024-TECH-01-03) and running from 2025 to 2028, UrbanAIR develops advanced digital twins that simulate the interactions between urban climate, human behaviour, and policy choices. These models enable cities to explore what-if scenarios, such as new green infrastructure, mobility measures or building designs, and assess their impacts on health, safety and social equity.
