ProgrammesFrom April 20-22 2026, EIC-funded companies can participate in training sessions designed to develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to engage in public and private procurement opportunities in Europe and beyond, wit the objective of helping them scale up their business.
Yearly over 250 000 EU public authorities spend around 14% of GDP (around €2 trillion ) procuring services, works and supplies. An increasing share of this is dedicated to procuring innovation. Innovation Procurement allows suppliers of innovative solution to engage in early discussions with potential buyers, helping new and disruptive innovations find their way into tenders.
Are you interested in learning how to leverage public and private innovation procurement to scale your business?
Within the context of the EIC Innovation Procurement Programme powered by SPIN4EIC, EIC Awardees are invited to take part in the next , fully online, edition of the EIC Innovation Procurement Academy, taking place from 20 to 22 April 2026.

Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant coordinated the Glaukos project, which answered the call topic published in 2019 of Horizon 2020 Framework Programme ‘Develop bio-based fibres and/or functional molecules to improve the performance of textile products’ under the Framework of the Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU). The consortium partners took up this challenge by valorising industrial side streams and setting up a circular approach to the textile industry.
