Prizes in Horizon 2020 – an overview

There are 2 types of prizes awareded by the European Commission: an inducement prize (IPr) also called Challenge Prize and a Recognition Prize (RPr). The IPr are meant to spur investment in a given direction, by specifying a target prior to the performance of the work. The RPr have the objective to raise public awareness about the subject. Funded under Horizon Europe (HORIZON-CL6-2022-GOVERNANCE-01-14), running from 2023 to 2027, PREMIERE aims to strengthen the multi-actor approach by supporting the development of more relevant, coherent, and well-prepared project proposals. Flanders Research Institute for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (EV ILVO) is partner in the project consortium and leads the work package on the development and dissemination of practical tools to help stakeholders prepare successful multi-actor proposals.
