The Commission has decided (decision from 15.01.2024)  to authorise the use of unit costs for personnel costs for actions under Horizon Europe and Euratom, which remains entirely optional. Beneficiaries can try it and, if not convinced, revert back to using actual costs for personnel (taking into account some restrictions).

Beneficiaries interested in personnel unit costs can calculate an indicative daily rate for their organisation using a Wizard, accessible on the dedicated page of Personnel Unit Cost on the Funding & Tenders Portal.

One single daily rate for personnel is agreed upfront with the beneficiary. It applies to all their staff working in a project. Reporting will be simplified because it is limited to the number of days worked.

PREMIERE: ILVO participates in research strengthening the multi-actor approach

Funded under Horizon Europe (HORIZON-CL6-2022-GOVERNANCE-01-14), running from 2023 to 2027, PREMIERE aims to strengthen the multi-actor approach by supporting the development of more relevant, coherent, and well-prepared project proposals. Flanders Research Institute for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (EV ILVO) is partner in the project consortium and leads the work package on the development and dissemination of practical tools to help stakeholders prepare successful multi-actor proposals.
