The webinar "How to prepare an Innovation Procurement: Best Practices and Lessons Learned" organised by EAFIP, the European Assistance for Innovation Procurement initiative, targets public procurers, suppliers and policy makers. It offers four different types of assistance:

• needs identification & assessment (through prior art analysis & scoping of the procurement need)
• conducting a market analysis (through an open market consultation & a State-of-the-Art analysis)
• developing a business case; and
• preparing the tender specifications & documents and launching the procurement.

The webinar will focus on how to conduct these activities, illustrating them through case examples of European projects, and will provide the opportunity for participants to ask questions.
