ProgrammesThis webinar is designed to introduce the Water4All 2026 Joint Transnational Call on Sustainable Water Management. It gives prospective applicants an overview of the call and an opportunity to ask questions ahead of the pre-proposal stage.
The webinar relates to the pre-announced Water4All 2026 Joint Transnational Call for research and innovation projects on sustainable water management. Proposals under the call must address at least one of four topics: integrated monitoring and assessment for sustainable water management; nature-based approaches for resilient water management at hydrological and hydrogeological system level; smart, secure and adaptive water infrastructure; and resilient water systems through systemic change, policy coherence and inclusive governance. The topics may be combined where relevant.
The pre-proposal deadline is 10 November 2026 and the full-proposal deadline is 6 April 2027. A Water4All partnering tool is also available for organisations looking for consortium partners, although the 2026 portal may only become accessible closer to the call opening:

Funded under Horizon Europe (HORIZON-CL5-2022-D5-01-02), running from 2023 to 2026, AENEAS advanced the development of innovative electric energy storage solutions tailored for waterborne transport. The project has also created tools & platforms to support the optimal integration of new energy storage systems into vessels, assess their impact on overall system efficiency, and quantify potential reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.
