The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC) and the Joint Research Centre (JRC) are organising the third edition of the science-policy matchmaking event. In this event they will

• discuss opportunities for researchers’ mobility and training in public administration
• present concrete examples of strengthening evidence-based policymaking through science-policy interactions
• look into examples of good practice in communicating scientific results to policymakers

You will have the opportunity to hear from national policymakers taking part in two multi-stakeholder projects for evidence-based policymaking as well as from individual researchers - doctoral and postdoctoral fellows - involved in the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA).

About EAC-JRC matchmaking events

EAC-JRC science-policy matchmaking events are part of the science-policy initiative to bring researchers and policymakers closer for stronger evidence-based policymaking. The event will be guided by examples in MSCA and JRC. Everyone from the wider R&I community interested in hearing about science-policy cooperation is welcome to join and share their experience - researchers, national and international policymakers, knowledge brokers, project leaders. The event will provide targeted opportunities for discussion.
