The SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking will hold its 2nd Annual Conference on 10 October 2023 at the Sheraton Hotel, Brussels Airport: "Making Europe the most efficient and environmentally friendly sky to fly in the world".

Under the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the conference will gather the EU aviation community - including representatives from the European Commission, the European Parliament, Member States, as well as industry leaders, research centres, SMEs and universities - to discuss and reflect on the activities of the SESAR 2020 programme, as well as on future priorities for delivering the Digital European Sky.

The event will also see the launch of the European ATM Master Plan 2024 campaign – to update Europe’s roadmap with the goal of establishing Europe as the most efficient and environmentally friendly sky to fly in the world. The steps needed to achieve a sustainable and fully integrated European ATM infrastructure will be discussed: ensuring a higher level of connectivity and automation of systems, both on the ground and in the air, as well as the convergence of the ATM and U-space environment.

You can register and find more information on the official website. The current draft agenda is attached to this message.

EURHISFIRM - Long-term data for Europe

EURHISFIRM designs a world-class research infrastructure (RI) to connect, collect, collate, align, and share detailed, reliable, and standardized long-term financial, governance, and geographical data on European companies. EURHISFIRM enables researchers, policymakers, and other stakeholders to develop and evaluate effective strategies to promote investment, economic growth and job creation. The RI provides the tools for long-term analysis highlighting the dynamics of the past and the way those dynamics structure our present and future.

The EURHISFIRM European project received € 3.4 million in financing from the European Commission through the H2020-INFRADEV-2017-1 research infrastructures call. The project started with a consortium of eleven research organisations (including University of Antwerp) from seven European countries.
