The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye, in cooperation with the Sabancı University and Istanbul Chamber of Industry, organise an on-site brokerage event to bring together key stakeholders from EU Member States and Associated Countries in Istanbul, fostering collaboration among stakeholders active in civil security research on a large scale.
The event is tailored for those interested in participating in projects within the Horizon Europe Cluster 3 Civil Security for Society Call Topics of 2024, such as police authorities, first responders, research institutions, universities, operators, SMEs or companies working on civil security.
Participants will not only gain valuable insights into the Horizon Europe Civil Security for Society 2024 Calls but will also have the opportunity to form consortia and engage in face-to-face networking.

Professor Inez Germeys leads the Center for Contextual Psychiatry at KU Leuven, which is a large multi-disciplinary research group focusing on the interaction between the person and the environment in the development of psychopathology. She has received a European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator grant (INTERACT) and Proof of Concept grant (IMPACT). With these grants professor Germeys and her team researched a new mobile self-management therapy for patients with a psychotic disorder. The Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in Daily Life (ACT-DL) was further developed for the clinical environment. In line with that the Horizon 2020 IMMERSE project aims to thoroughly evaluate strategies, processes, and outcomes of implementing a digital mobile mental health solution.
