ProgrammesThis workshop is part of the NCP4Missions series and focuses on the regional and local impact of EU Missions and Horizon Europe Clusters. Key stakeholders, including EU representatives, National Contact Points, and project representatives, will come together to examine the policy framework and strategic vision behind these initiatives.
Participants can expect to learn about practical examples from projects across the five EU Missions: Cities, Climate, Ocean, Soil, and Cancer. The event aims to combine policy perspectives with hands-on experiences, providing insights into how these initiatives generate impact at local and regional levels. Furthermore, the workshop will highlight relevant EU initiatives that encourage potential synergies.
This event is open to potential applicants for EU Missions/Cluster calls, NCPs, and stakeholders from regional and local authorities, research, and civil society organisations.

The METHYLOMIC project, ‘targeting hope for personalised medicine in immune-mediated inflammatory diseases’ obtained funding from Horizon Europe’s Health Cluster. The project aims to personalise treatment allocation and enhance the effectiveness of medications for chronic immune-mediated diseases such as Crohn’s disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and psoriasis. BIRD, the Belgian inflammatory bowel disease research and development group, is a partner in the project and is involved in the OmiCrohn trial, a prospective randomised clinical trial for individualised therapy in Crohn’s disease patients. With BIRD’s active role in this trial, the project is set to deliver predictive, biomarker-based therapies that bring renewed hope for Crohn’s disease patients across Europe.
