The official kick-off meeting of the European Partnership on One Health Antimicrobial Resistance (EUP OHAMR) is taking place later this month. This first official meeting provides an ideal opportunity to meet one another and to present the goals and ambitions of this large-scale European collaboration on antimicrobial resistance.
On the agenda is an overview of the partnership's mission and vision, a panel discussion with the work package leaders on how to achieve the project's outputs, outcomes and impact as well as a panel discussion with experts on achieving impact through global collaboration. Sufficient time for Q&A is foreseen.
Your physical presence is preferred, to enable an interactive session. On-site participants are welcomed with a lunch (until 13:00) and are invited to a networking reception afterwards. You can also join the event online (13:00 - 16:15).
More information, the detailed programme and registration for on-site participation can be found here. For online attendance, you can register here. Admission (on-site and online) is free but registration is required.

The Horizon2020 project BEAT-AF brings together 9 European renowned clinical centres in France, Belgium, Czechia, Germany and Austria. Together, the consortium strives to revolutionize Atrial Fibrillation (AF) treatment through catheter ablation and contribute to decrease the huge burden of AF in Europe. The BEAT-AF project kicked off in 2021 and will run until 2026. The department of electrophysiology of the AZ Sint-Jan Hospital in Bruges is partner in the project and has so far contributed to the pre-clinical development, the first in man studies and first registries of the revolutionary AF treatment put forward by the consortium. The first pilot studies show that the treatment is safe, effective and efficient.
