ProgrammesThe European IP Helpdesk organises a webinar for early career researchers to outline the basics of Intellectual Property (IP) and of Open Science (OS).
The aim of this webinar is to create awareness of, and to build confidence in, applying the laws of IP to the culture of Open Science, and vice versa. The webinar will show that there is no conflict between IP and Open Science, but on the other hand, “open” does not mean “no IP issues”, nor “free for commercial use”.
The webinar show examples of how the sharing of IP, data, and publications, can be as open as possible, but closed when necessary.

Funded under Horizon Europe (HORIZON-INFRA-2024-TECH-01-03) and running from 2025 to 2028, UrbanAIR develops advanced digital twins that simulate the interactions between urban climate, human behaviour, and policy choices. These models enable cities to explore what-if scenarios, such as new green infrastructure, mobility measures or building designs, and assess their impacts on health, safety and social equity.
