CINEA and European Commission's DG CLIMA are organising an online info day to present the 2023 demonstration project calls of the Innovation Fund on 7 December 2023.

Interested parties with knowledge of previous IF calls are hereby reminded of various changes introduced in the 2023 calls, which will receive special attention in this info session.

Eligible sectors include (but are not limited to):

  • (general) decarbonisation
  • cleantech manufacturing
  • maritime sector
  • energy-intensive industries

The preliminary deadline for applying is 9 April 2024. You can find more information and register on the official announcement.

During this info day, information will be given concerning:

  • 2023 call features
  • application procedures
  • award criteria and changes regarding previous IF calls
  • project development assistance
  • cost calculation, methodology and changes regarding previous IF calls
  • GHG calculation and methodology

AI4Culture - Empowering Cultural Heritage through Artificial Intelligence

The AI4Culture project, funded under Digital Europe call Data space for cultural heritage (deployment) aims to develop an online capacity building hub for AI technologies in the cultural heritage sector. This hub contributes to the creation of the European common cultural heritage data space, which provides support to the digital transformation of Europe’s cultural sector and fosters the creation and reuse of content in cultural and creative sectors. The Flemish company CrossLang is one of the 12 partners in the project and brings in its year-long expertise in the development of multilingual technology to the transcription and translation of scanned printed and handwritten documents.
