Join the second edition of the European Innovation Council (EIC) Summit in Brussels. The event brings together start-ups, researchers, investors, policy makers and corporates.
What's on the programme?
- Discuss European innovation policy developments & challenges
- Learn practical tips & tricks during the break-out sessions on 8 December
- Visit the EIC exhibition and talk to EIC beneficiaries and partnering organisations. Among the 20 projects presented are the Horizon 2020 Future and Emerging Technologies Open project SHERO and EIC Pathfinder project PRiNGLE
- The winners of the Women Innovators, European Capital of Innovation and European Innovation Procurement Awards will be announced
- Four satellite events will take place in the morning of 7 December
All the plenary sessions will be available for web streaming.

SAPHIRe - Securing the Adoption of Personalised Medicin in Regions
The Department of Economy, Science and Innovation of the Flemish government coordinates the Horizon 2020 Coordination and Support Action SAPHIRe, which started on 1 December 2018. The aim of the project is to secure the adoption of personalised medicine in all European regions, including sparsely populated and remote regions and regions with different innovation capacities.
The activities of SAPHIRe are complementary to the smart specialisation partnership on personalised medicine – S3P4PM, which is also coordinated by the Department of Economy, Science and Innovation.
