This online brokerage event is designed for applicants that are preparing Horizon Europe proposals on green transition and climate resilience topics across a wide range of fields, including health, climate and environment, energy, mobility, and cities, where collaboration between social sciences and humanities and STEM disciplines is essential.

More specifically the event will mainly focus on 13 call topics identified in the 2026-2027 work programmes of Pillar II (including Missions and NEB) with strong relevance for green transition and climate resilience and in which the involvement of social sciences and humanities is required.

This event aims to:

  • give a better understanding of the SSH dimensions in selected Horizon Europe topics on green transition and climate resilience;
  • provide practical guidance on interdisciplinary consortium building;
  • support partner search through networking and pitching.

Target audience:

  • Applicants from Cluster 1, Cluster 2, Cluster 5, Cluster 6, Missions Cities, Mission Ocean, Climate and NEB with STEM or SSH expertise and interested in topics requiring the involvement of the social sciences and humanities.
  • Applicants from social sciences and humanities disciplines who are interested in exploring opportunities for SSH disciplines beyond Cluster 2.
  • All stakeholders active in the field of Green Transition and Climate Resilience.

Theresa PCP: ZAS participates in research developing an on-site system to decontaminate hospital wastewater

Funded under Horizon Europe (HORIZON-HLTH-2024-CARE-14-01), running from 2025 to 2029, the THERESA PCP aims to launch a pre-commercial procurement process (PCP) based on the development of an environmentally sustainable on-site system to decontaminate hospital wastewater. Ziekenhuis aan de Stroom (ZAS) plays an important role in the project by contributing real-world insights from a large and diverse hospital network. Read more about the project in this testimonial.
