EIT Health Belgium-Netherlands hosts the EIT Health Summit 2024.

Policy makers, start-ups, investors, educators, healthcare professionals are invited to join the event which will revolve around the theme "Take Action to Create Change". On the agenda are keynote speeches, breakout sessions, workshops and panel discussions focusing on four topics:

• Embracing technology: Transforming the healthcare workforce
• Harmonising innovation to improve the delivery of healthcare
• Harnessing the future with sustainable systems
• Collaboration: Powering improvement and widening access

Back-to-back with the summit (on 17 April), EIT Health Belgium-Netherlands is organising an exclusive innovation tour for interested participants. This tour is designed to provide participants with an immersive experience of the forefront of health innovation in the Netherlands.

Background: EIT Health was established in 2015, as a ‘knowledge and innovation community’ (KIC) of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). The EIT is made up of various KICs who each focus on a different sector, or area, of innovation – in this case, that is health and aging. The idea behind the KICs is that innovation flourishes best when the right people are brought together to share expertise.
