ProgrammesThese free training courses under the EIC Tech to Market Programme are designed to help deep-tech researchers turn research results into market-ready innovations.
Applications are now open across the full offer for EIC beneficiaries: EIC Pathfinder and Transition beneficiaries, entities eligible for EIC Transition, Seal of Excellence holders, Women TechEU awardees.
1) Entrepreneurship Foundation: Introduction to entrepreneurship for researchers (the core concepts and principles of entrepreneurship, for researchers starting from scratch).
Application deadline: 24 August 2026 | Duration: 1–3 September
2) Entrepreneurship Immersion: deeper, practical knowledge across the topics that decide whether a deep-tech venture succeeds.
Application deadline: 24 August 2026 | Duration: September–December
3) Business Idea Validation: a hands-on course to test how your research results fit real market needs, using stakeholder interviews and design thinking. Designed for teams whose results are already at a more advanced stage, typically EIC Transition or late-stage Pathfinder projects. Requires a team of at least two.

The AgrifoodTEF, funded under the Digital Europe call for a Testing and Experimentation Facility for Agri-Food, is a network of world-class testing and experimentation facilities (TEFs) in the agri-food sector that supports testing state-of-the-art data, AI, and robotics solutions in real-world environments to accelerate their market introduction. ILVO, Flanders Research Institute for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Flemish node of the AgriFoodTEF supports the entire agri-food business, leveraging its infrastructures, experience and vast network established through participation in numerous Digital Europe and Horizon Europe initiatives.
