This round table will look at how Europe can make preparedness research and innovation economically relevant between pandemics, including barriers to translation and possible ways to create value during and between health crises.

The BE READY Partnership on Pandemic Preparedness organises a round table on building a sustainable pandemic preparedness ecosystem. It aims to discuss how preparedness research and innovation can remain economically relevant between pandemics.

The programme includes a discussion on what holds research back from becoming innovation, where the gaps are, and which good practices already work. It will also look at ways to create value both during and between health crises.

The event is aimed at policymakers, researchers, innovators and international experts interested in pandemic preparedness.

More information and registration can be found on the BE READY dedicated webpage. Participation is open to all, but places are limited and registration is required.
