Programmes NMBP SME InstrumentEIT Raw Materials invites you to participate to the Start-Up and SME Booster Call 2020. It is an opportunity for European Start-ups and entrepreneurs in the raw materials sector to scale-up its business with financial support of up to a maximum amount of EUR 60,000.The deadlines of this call are 17 January, 15 May and 4 September 2020. The second initiative is the EIT Jumpstarter 2020, an innovation contest aiming to reach out, identify and support the best ideas from researchers, professionals and early-stage start-ups, with a potential impact in the Raw Materials Value Chain.3 prizes are foreseen (10.000, 7000 and 5000€). The last initiative is the Rawmaterials Accelerator which is aiming at start-ups who want to fast-track their business. It starts with ideas at TRL 4-6 and aims to find a market niche, to develop a financial model, and to build a business model. Selected Start-ups will receive €15 000 as funding to cover their costs for participating in Phase 1 of the RM Accelerator. Call has opened on 20 December. For detailed information click here.

Avia-GIS is a Belgian innovative SME established in 2001. They have built research and public authority trust over the past 19 years and developed a unique, disruptive software suite - VECMAP® - that supports society to overcome one of its important health threats, the spreading of Pests of Public Health importance.
With the help of a Horizon 2020 SME Instrument Phase 2 project, they will be able to add Integrated Pest Management functionalities and go to the market. With the grant, that was an essential component of their second investment round, Avia-GIS aims at raising its revenue from the current 2 M€ to 14.2 M€ in 2024, and increase the headcount from 15 to 58.
