SC6 - Europe in a changing world - Inclusive, innovative and reflective societies

The aim of the Societal Challenge 'Europe in a changing world – Inclusive, innovative and reflective societies' (SC6) is to foster a greater understanding of Europe, provide solutions, and support inclusive, innovative and reflective European societies in a context of unprecedented transformations and growing global interdependencies.

Pressure from increased migration flows, socio-economic and cultural transformations from new forms of human-technology interaction under the fourth industrial revolution, and new developments in European, national and global governance have the potential to significantly impact Europe's future at many levels. To tackle these challenges, the work programme 2018-2020 will focus on three major themes:

- Migration

- Socio-economic and cultural transformations stemming from the fourth industrial revolution

- Governance for the future
