ERC President appointed by European Commission

Today the European Commission has appointed professor Mauro Ferrari as President of the ERC. His mandate starts on 1 January 2020 and will last 4 years. The mandate of the current President of the ERC Jean-Pierre Bourguignon ends on 31 December 2019.

ERC - Results Proof of Concept 2019 call 1st cut-off

The results of the 2019 Proof of Concept call (1st cut-off 23 January 2019) were published. In total 54 ERC grant holders received a Proof of Concept grant including two researchers based at Flemish host institutions:


INNOWWIDE - Call for funding of Viability Assessment Projects of SMEs is open

The INNOWWIDE pilot call aims to bring innovative European SMEs to the forefront of international markets by funding Viability Assessment Projects (VAPs) in cooperation with local stakeholders around the world, creating the conditions to increase the uptake of European innovative solutions in markets outside of Europe.
