The European Commission has opened on 12 July 2022 a call for tender for a common European Language Data Space.
This call for tenders implements the Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL) with regards to the development and deployment of a ‘Common European Language Data Space’. The objectives of the call for tenders are to support the creation of an infrastructure for sharing and exchanging language data, tools, services and models; to define — in full respect for European values and compliance with European and/or national rules — commonly agreed principles and practices for the Language Data Space; to deploy it and to promote its increasing uptake across the EU via a series of communication and dissemination activities as well as social media campaigns.
The Commission has published a report on a series of workshops that was held around this topic.
The deadline to submit tenders is 15 September 2022.
More information on this call, including the related documents, can be found on the eTendering portal.

Professor Inez Germeys leads the Center for Contextual Psychiatry at KU Leuven, which is a large multi-disciplinary research group focusing on the interaction between the person and the environment in the development of psychopathology. She has received a European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator grant (INTERACT) and Proof of Concept grant (IMPACT). With these grants professor Germeys and her team researched a new mobile self-management therapy for patients with a psychotic disorder. The Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in Daily Life (ACT-DL) was further developed for the clinical environment. In line with that the Horizon 2020 IMMERSE project aims to thoroughly evaluate strategies, processes, and outcomes of implementing a digital mobile mental health solution.
