The European Innovation Council (EIC) impact report 2022 covers the impact that the EIC support has had up to date. Among all start-ups supported by the EIC more than 100 achieved centaur status (company valuation over €100 million).
A company which previously received EIC support is SettleMint founded in 2016 in Leuven. The company received support via the Horizon 2020 SME Instrument programme (predecessor of Horizon Europe EIC Accelerator). SettleMint provides underlying technology for blockchain applications for companies. Previously the company was nominee for the 2019 Rising Star Award in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 competition of Belgium.
The company Indigo was founded in 2016 and is based in Ghent. It develops a chip implant to detect glucose and ketone levels and an app which can be used as a monitoring tool for people with diabetes. This company previously received funding through the H2020 SME Instrument as well (Diamond). The founder and CEO of the company Danaë Delbeke was finalist in the 2021 Prize for Women Innovators competition.

Atlas Integratie & Inburgering Antwerpen is an autonomous agency and a non-profit organisation responsible for implementing the Flemish integration policy on behalf of and for the City of Antwerp. Atlas offers several types of services for newcomers and Antwerp’s public and non-profit organisations.
In 2018, under the leadership of HafenCity University Hamburg, Atlas participated in the H2020 call 'Addressing the challenge of migrant integration through ICT-enabled solutions'. The proposal 'MICADO - Migrant Integration Cockpits and Dashboards' was approved by the European Commission and the project started in January 2019 and runs until June 2022.
